"My design aesthetic is derived from sketches based on elliptical and curvilinear shapes with emphasis on a muted angular theme."

Corneau Goldsmithing is proud to announce the addition of award winning designer, Laurie Donovan.  Like Michael Corneau himself, Laurie spent several years as lead designer and goldsmith for renowned gem-expert and author, Richard Wise. While Michael is presently featured at the Peabody Museum at Yale University, Laurie is a Spectrum award winner for excellence and innovation in jewelry design.  Both Michael and Laurie specialize in creating one-of-a-kind pieces of heirloom and museum quality jewelry pieces featured around rare colored gemstones of exceptional quality.  With a combined total of nearly 60 years hand-crafting exceptional pieces,

Laurie has been designing and hand fabricating fine jewelry for over 35 years. Her jewelry is created from high carat gold and precious colored gemstones. She specializes in unique one-of-a-kind pieces and a limited edition line as well. Her jewelry is all hand made and finished to enhance the beauty of the gold and gemstones. Different colors and textures of gold compliment the gems and the piece. Each piece is ergonomically designed, durably constructed, exquisitely finished, and made to be enjoyed and worn for a lifetime.

Laurie lives with her loving partner, Mark. She enjoys hiking, dancing, gardening and her quiet home.
